Chazuta Journey

Here’s the second gallery from Peru! As part of my residency at Sachaqa Centro de Arte, I returned to Chazuta (San Martin province) in January for a longer stay to learn from the papermaking artesanas. It was wonderful to document the four-day process, especially since my physical participation was limited due to illness. Large sheets made that week are key to my new installation in progress.
